1024 x 576 is a very odd resolution... Hm. But if I get £200 off then I think it will do ;o)
  • A PDF elsewhere on their website says It's 1024x600, but 1024x576 makes more sense as that's exactly the 16:10 aspect ratio you'll find on most 'widescreen' laptops

I am curious how you find the 1024x576 resolution on a 10" screen. How easy to read web pages/do email? Or, have you set the resolution lower to make text larger? I ask 'cos whenever I've seen 1024 on a 10" screen in a shop, it looks tiny, impossible to work with. Currently we have a Lenovo 12" X32 travel laptop, the screen is very workable at 1024 x 768 and we would replace it only if there were a really practical super lightweight alternative.

The screen text is fairly small but I usually use 2560x1600 on a 15.4" screen.
What are the accessories that come with your S10e as default?

Do you get a carry/protective case/bag at all?
You do not get any accessories with the S10e, just the netbook and charger

Was just wondering if anyone had a spare £100 code as it's the last day today?

Is it the last day to get a code or the last day to use it.

Just found it in the terms and conditions -

Purchases can be made with the ecoupon up to and including Saturday 28th February 2009. Orders after 28th February 2009 will not attract ecoupon discounts.

So still a month to use them.

As much as I'd love a £200 code too, if people start sending codes to other people the offer will get pulled. We've seen that happen on a number of occasions. I'd doubt they would honour it anyway. I bet they check who the code has been issued to and if you are not one of the genuine recipients they are unlikely to send the netbook.
