Only place Iv'e seen coke in glass bottles lately is Tesco. I'm not sure of price but *think* its about £5.99 for 6 bottles. I remember doing this :eek: when I saw the price.

Quite often a shop in our local town called 'Half price or less' which is like Home Bargains type of store has coke in glass bottles.

They sell 'em in Makro in cases of 48 or whatever. Anyway they had them once bogof or btgof offer was spost to apply to diet & normal but they only ever had diet in stock

wig i work for makro and we have had that problem lately, the troble comes when on wed (every other) when the makro mail comes out (offer leaflet) all the caterers etc are lined up out side at 7.30am when the doors open and clear the shelves, we then have no stock for 'normal' people. Its the luck of the draw really. Its mighty unfare but thats makro all over.

Nah, if that's true, good luck to 'em, early bird and all that* Plus a cash and carry is meant for caterers and the like. If I get a bargain at Makro I'm happy, if not it's ok because it's only 3 miles away. However it does perplex me that they are supposed to sell things at trade prices, yet a lot of it is cheaper (or as cheap) at Tesco. It confuses me when you see a price marked product like those stateside(?) pizzas, price marked at 1.99 and sold by Makro for 1.99 ! :rotfl: I think they did eventually put the price down to 1.94 (or close to that).

*however A supplier should ensure sufficient stock to satisfy demand of a promoted offer, and Makro clearly do fail in this regard time & time again.

Just been to Waitrose and they had 6 glass bottles of Coca-Cola for £3.19 or thereabouts.......they only had diet though.

£11.75 for a case of 24 330ml in Makro 49p per bottle. That's a good price in Waitrose (i.e. the post above). Nearly as cheap as Makro.
