CSA payments how long will it take

I've had no maintenance for the last 5 months, as the kids dad switched jobs, the CSA took the first payment from him last friday, how long will it take to get to me do you think?

I can answer my own question! I've had a letter today saying the money will be paid on the 28th, so fingers crossed.

Just check if the date on the letter is the day they are paying to you or the day they are collecting from your partner...

Payment usually takes 5 days to fully clear in their account and then an additional 3 days to transfer into your bank account.

Also keep in mind that if they are taking the money directly from the employer the employer has up to a certain date in the month to make the payment (I think it's the 19th?) also it depends on the date of the company payroll so it will usually be 8 days from whenever the CSA receive the payment.

hi i got a letter saying that i would get a payment on the 16th and then monthly payments on the 6th of the month.spoke to my adviser as i was originally to get weekly deo payments that was then changed to monthly direct debits he said that the 16th payment was a deo im just wondering when will i get this as he wasnt very clear and when you phone you get the feeling your bothering the person on the other end lol he has told me that DD are taken on the 1st ill get them on the 6th but deo,s they get them on the 23rd of month so why does letter say ill get it on the 16th
can someboby explain this to me
