Morning!
Don't post on here very often so I apologise if I am posting in the wrong forum (but I am sure some kindly soul will remove it if I am! LOL)
I am STILL working for Tesco (12 years now!) and I have lost count of the times that Coupon Policy etc changes.
Last Weeks we were all briefed on the 'New' coupon policy (which is much better than the last official one!)
* There is now no 'cap' on the % of coupons against the final bill (i.e. you could pay half your bill in coupons if you had acceptable ones)
* We can accept internet coupons providing they scan (no photocopys)
* We can take 1 coupon per non-purchased item of that type
* We accept competitors vouchers but not for 'speciific' items
We are not allowed to enter coupons on the non-scanned button (I guess this could be agreed by a manager if you have bought the item???)
Hope this is useful (don't now how long this policy will last - they change like the weather!)

Hi Donnylover,
Would you mind saying which store this is.
Hope it`s one near me!0 -
This is Hatfield in Hertfordshire but I am presuming this is Company Policy because it is all being carried out through our 'Training Policy' which is usually governed by Head Office. Hopefully it will slowly wend it's way through the country (just in time for the next policy change!)

My store says its 1 coupon per shop without buying the item.
Some MSE'ers say their store accepts 1 of each different coupon.
Which is it?
I have stopped shopping at Tesco as my store only accepts one a day. Hardly worth a trip for 50p off my shop. But even worse, some days they don't accept any, and just tell you its tough luck as its managers discretion. Of course, they don't tell you this till you are being shown up at the till. I've even been turned down when i bought the item ( i walked out leaving my shopping).
My family and i spent about £10,000 per year at Tesco, and we have now left for sake of a few quid of coupons per week. All because of a line manager who hates coupon users and makes sure you know it.0 -
The latest scam is people are copying the £1 saver club tokens, and getting free shopping. A friend was in the queue when a shopper was stopped.
A manager just happened to be on the till covering when someone tried using a card full of fake coupons.
Whatever next.0 -

Just had 4 more Rosenborg calendars turn up...already had 2 at the beginning of the year( 1 for me and 1 for hubby)...no idea why I have had all these others...maybe they had plenty left, or maybe the label printing machine was hiccoughing !!0
