no barcode...feels like they forgot to add the second half of the barcode, anybody fancy emailing mumsplusone about it?If it was a simple mistake then we'd have 2x50p on pdf until december this year!
There is also a Cif anti-bacterial variation, and as above, the bar code and terms and conditions are omitted.

Anyone aware of any developments?

I wonder if these have been removed at the moment as I couldn't see them on the MumplusOne website earlier (I was logged in).
Hopefully they are putting the problem right, let's keep checking each day.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Honey - loving the first post.
Notice you've got the old ASDA policy up though. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Oops! Didn't realise there was a new one. Sorry for any confusion! I just copied and pasted the above policy from the old coupon thread.
Does anyone have a copy of the latest policy? I'm afraid I'm very much a Tesco girl these days, so don't know anything about Asda's attitude towards coupons anymore.

I have had original coupons for Cif (or Jif as it will always be to me) in recent bounty packs and they looked identical to these so it seems reasonable that they are real and will be available soon (please)AKA: PC

As I mentioned on the previous thread I emailed mumsplusone to ask why there is no barcode on the CIF MOC. I have just had the reply shown below:
"Dear xxxx,
There isn’t any barcode on the Cif Voucher, as you can take the coupons to any Tesco store and redeem them. You can find the details about the discount in Cif article on the magazine or here online:
http://www.mumplusone.com/article.aspx?CatID=110&ArticleID=1422
Also there are no charges for registering to our web site.
Kind Regards,
Sema"
It seems strange that Tesco would be happy to take a coupon that had no barcode although I guess this would stop shopppers getting money off without buying the product which obviously CIF and now it seems Tesco may want???0 -

No, I doubt it, Tesco won't know anything about this mistake (that's what it is) and they won't accept such a coupon at the till. IIRC doesn't the second linked image not even have any t&cs either?
It's an error and the customer service clerk who replied to you (presumably at MumPlusOne not CIF?) simply doesn't have any knowledge of barcodes & coupons. She is just following what many do in large companies 'if in doubt, make up an answer that sounds like you know what you are talking about and more than half of queries will disappear'.
They used to do this in an office I worked at - because trying to meet their PPI targets on 'number of phone calls & emails answered within xx minutes' was deemed more important than actually getting the answer right. Remind anyone of Tesco Dundee? :rotfl:
Can you make up an informed reply heskpesk, maybe say 'thanks but in fact I am a Tesco cashier, I also used to work at Morrisons (or another store) and I know this is not acceptable at any Supermarket till. No customer will be able to use an unbarcoded coupon - and the second one has no terms & conditions at all. That's what prompted me to email as I know that it is an oversight and was hoping someone could please now put it right so I can use my coupon?'
HTH - I like to use the old 'I used to work as a cashier' or 'I have a relative who works in another Tesco' to explain my knowledge of scanning coupons & barcodes if Supervisors look shirty. Works a treat instore and it may also help prompt a more informed reply from MumplusOne, hopefully?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
