Would appreciate some info on the free eye test please...I do qualify for free test every 2 years but I think my eyes are in need of something stronger just for watching telly in and it's only 14 months since my last test, and I see Tesco have got some nice cheap glasses for £20...did get my last ones from Glasses Direct, but could try the Tesco ones on ,in the store...TIA
You could get your free eye test at d&a link on first page, get the prescription from them & then if you want take it to mr T:D

Thanks for that, might be tempted to be cheeky enough to go back there... went to D&A for my last test in order to get the free sunglasses from their promotion last year...didn't buy any glasses but they had a promo for over 60's , if you had your eyes tested then you got a free pair of prescription sunglasses up to £80 in value for free, no catches, just had my eyes tested and got a really nice pair of sunglasses...but thought they might think me cheeky going back with another offer and walking out with the prescription and taking it to Tesco..

Tesco policy says you are supposed to buy the product for coupons issued by Tesco. As you probably know, usually you are 'saved by the till' which is set to beep angrily if you don't use Tesco coupons properly.

But...in this case, the tills have not been set to block this coupon if you don't buy the dishwasher stuff. This has happened sometimes in the past (e.g. with the Spanish Chocolate one from the Good Food Show leaflet and the Actimel moc given out instore a few months ago).

So it's a matter of your attitude to risk I suppose. It's not within Tesco policy so you could get noticed using one (and I certainly wouldn't put one in the self-scan due to the need for authorisation). But in a batch of NSS coupons it will work and Tesco will get the money back as it's a valid promo - and they must be selling shedloads of this stuff at the mo if the empty shelves in my local stores are anything to go by!

FWIW I have used a few, one per day, as I am sure Tesco will get the money back so for me this is within my personal line of what I feel is acceptable. We are in dire straits financially at the moment so I felt this one is OK while it lasts. And yes I have bought quite a lot of the washing up liquid to get the mocs - but I have not bought the dishwasher stuff.

I am comfortable using one per day whilst I have some of these, but strictly speaking it's not within policy...

Hi all, just been to Mr T's bought two copies of star mag, pack of chicken breasts two bottles of fairy with the £2.00 MOC on them and they were on offer two for £2.00 and a bottle of white zinfandel for tonight! I was a bit miffed as they had one of my wines on offer 3 for £10.00, and for a change they had run out! Why do Mr T's do this, put offers on and then run out, it's so annoying. I was more furious that some robbing swine has removed alot of the MOCS of the fairy bottles and then pushed them to the back of the shelves:mad: Who ever you are I hope you break down in your car at 4.00 o'clock in the morning in the middle of nowhere and the fleas of a thousand camels infest your armpits and you suffer the worst case of hemeroids possible!:D :rotfl:

Moving on Hope you have a wonderful weekend "Mad"

There's 2 vouchers in OK magazine, April 7 Issue for a free eye test at Dollond and Aitchison and 20% of a pair of glasses until 31.07.09, see page 131. Don't forget to buy the mag with a £1.50 from Star or Now and a couple of other MOC's
If at first you don't succeed, try, try, try - oh bu99er that just cheat :D

Here is the link for the £3 Airwick coupon, the date on mine is 17/5/09, prints 2 http://www.airwick.co.uk/airwickcrm/index.php?off=0&ls=homepage.

These are on sale at Tesco's right now. I have seen different prices for the small one (depending on what scent you get with it) between £4.88 and £5.99. I bought a small one today, the shelf tag said £4.88 but when I got home and looked at the receipt I was charged £5.99 for it. The big one is one sale for £6.99.
