So I just got back from shopping at Mr T's and just as I was leaving the store, the supervisor caught up with me . I have been abusing the policy. Apparently I have been shopping there.
I had the similar problem like yours. On Monday 23rd, as usual I do my shopping after work. Apparently whilst I was paying for my groceries, the checkout supervisor (whom I know very well) came over to the counter & said :" I understand that you already used your coupons to shop this morning?" I reply : WHAT! who said that? she said 1 of her colleague, I asked her to point it out to me which one but she refused. So I told her, since u have cctv, why dont u go & check it out, I know your policy why should I shop twice a day! after I have paid, I was fuming!!! I when to see the security guy & told him what happened. He knows that I did not do my shopping in the morning as he was there all that time & told me to complain it to the customer service & ask for the Manager, he came down, took my number & said that he will let me know as soon as he find out. Today is Saturday still have not heard from him. Will go on Monday & ask to see him again.RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
Nice to see you back Dr.Who-Who
Must admit I have never had any problem buying "in bulk" newspapers that contain MOC's (with MOC's of course);)
Mad has been known to make several trips to T's in one day, depending on how thirsty he is feeling
Any old trout that has refused me MOC's in the past always get a big grin as I walk out of the storeThis works on two levels (i) They know you've just had a result and always leaves them hot under the collar  (ii) Everyone else just thinks you are a friendly shopper:rolleyes:

heh, I may do that just out of frustration.
I've dealt with 4 different supervisors at my store. All of them have tackled me at some point over the policy, but 3 of them now agree with the national policy, but this 1 that tackled me tonight is the only d**k. He must feel it's his personal mission to stop people using valid coupons.
He was originally called to the till tonight by the assistant, so I showed him the letter I had from Tesco stating the policy, and he then proceeded to go through my coupons with a fine tooth comb and even rejected the Wall's sausages coupon saying "sorry we dont sell those" to which my reply was "but you have a whole section of Wall's sausages" to which he said "but we dont sell 'The Finest Cuts' sausages" - I felt like calling him an idiot because that's their logo/slogan but that wouldn't have gone down well.
Good luck Tony!
I would write the letter to the SM that I suggested before. When I wrote mine it was because of just 2 Supervisors who had a problem with coupons; they had been very nasty whereas other Supervisors had not. How can a customer know where they stand if they follow the coupon policy but can only make use of it when the 'right' Supervisor is on duty? Daft.
And re the Walls one...it would have been funny to point out the t&cs which state the coupon is valid for ANY WALL'S PRODUCT. The piccy of any sausages is for illustration only. Bacon or Ice Cream anyone?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Was this the £1 walls ones? I thought you had to have the magazine anyway to use these?0
