I have had quite a lot in the past but I did not think is was every week??

I've been buying it for about 4, maybe 5, weeks now just for the coupon. I used to buy New magazine for the same coupon but New is 85p so buying the Star saves me 20p.:j

I read on another forum that receipts paid for in cash is fine but if they have bank card details Clubcard fraud team can flag that the Clubcard being credited is different from the bank card holder- not sure if correct but I always consider this

Nope that's incorrect. When you receive your clubcard you are encouraged to share the little keyring ones with family and friends. The barcode on your receipt does not relate in anyway to type of payment be it credit card cash or even better MOC's ;) HTH

What you need to be wary of if it is a card payment, is the possibilty that a stolen card was used. If that was the case, your clubcard number would lead back to you and you would be the person the police called on.

The chance of this is pretty small I should think, but its up to you whether you feel its worth the risk for a few points.

As I've stated in my previous post. The barcode produced for your clubcard in no way relates to or tracks any credit/debit card payment
