Hi there, sorry for the late reply!

I have just had a look, and yes- it is the same one (Although, since it's a 'event/sale' you'd expect it to be cheaper than it's regular price )

Anyways..... I have had a very similar one to this before- exact same size/dimentions/style etc, except it was Mothercare rather than Hauck (It was part of the Atlantis Travel System. It is a cracking buggy, but as you say you would use it for holidays etc- I wouldn't really recommend it as it's pretty bulky even when folded (especially if you had luggage etc) It isn't 'umbrella style' folding- so if you imagine looking at a standard buggy from behind, it stays about the same height and width, it just goes a bit flatter......... if you know what I mean? lol.

When we had this type of buggy, we had a Ford Escort, and it was a pretty tight squeeze and you would have to load your shopping ontop of the buggy as it would be too heavy to put it on top of your groceries etc.

I now have a Mama's & Papa's Beat Stroller for my youngest (6 months) for doing the shopping (and a single 3 wheeler.... and a twin 3 wheeler for going up and down our farm track) I think the M&P one's are brill!

The only issue I had, is that my wee boy- who is 2 and a half is quite a big lad (3' 3" 40lbs lol) And a lot of buggies are only suitable up to around 35lb, just something to keep in mind when you're looking ;)

I hope you find what you're looking for, but please feel free to PM me if you need any other recommendations etc

  • Dont forget if you have any of the bounty vouchers for your free mum to be bag (or the next one up but cant remember the name) if you collect it from Asda instead of Boots there is a free £5.00 voucher off a £15.00 (might be £20.00) spend on baby stuff. This voucher can be used during the baby event. Last time I bought the highchair and six tommee tippe bottles for £35.00 less the £5.00.

Jeez- I forgot about mine too! I had tried to get one in Boots last month, but they told me they hadn't had any instore for weeks and weren't sure when they would be getting their next delivery.

Will make a point of (trying to remember) to get one in Asda.

Thank you Bargain Junky and Natbag x

good luck with that our local asda hasn't had any mum 2be packs for nearly 4 months  I want my voucher!!

PS asda have updated their website now ;) some stores are doing AA carseat checks, hand painting (on 28th only) and photographers from tempest

also make sure you don't just blindly buys stuff, the johnsons baby products involved are the bedtime ones with lavender but the "normal" ones are cheaper and most of the nappies and toiletries are usual price but just put near the special offers

I had trouble getting my mum 2 be pack too. Only collected it two weeks ago when son would have been 10 weeks old! I still have the next one to collect as you guessed it they are out of stock!

I have two still to collect (not sure why 2!) of the 6 month pack. But I had a voucher left over from the pregnancy/birth pack so I used that to get a Lindem door bouncer for £10 this morning. :)

I also got the Gina Ford Contented Little Baby book for £5 (RRP about £8-9) and the Annabel Karmel baby food recipes book for £5 (RRP about £15).

And I got my baby's hand prints done on the way out, and got a lovely little poem with his prints on (although the paint is a bit watery so you can't see the detail). You also get a goodie bag containing some baby wipes, toddler wipes, baby food and a few other bits. :)
