Morning
I've booked my wedding for 2pm 7th August 2009 :T Yay!
Could you check the below and give me your thoughts? I'm thinking the timeings should be:
2:00 wedding
2:30 Photos and canapes
4:00 Sit down
4:30 Main Meal
5:30 Speeches
6:00 Coffee
7:00 Evening people arrive
9:00 Sausage baps served
1:00 Finish

Your timings sound fine. I take it your having a civil ceremony? These were our timings for a church ceremony (with the reception over the road):-
14:00 Wedding
14:45 Photos and canapes
16:15 Meal - main, dessert, cheese & biscuits, coffee
18:00 Speeches & cake cutting
19:30 Music & evening guests arrive
21:00 Hog roast
23:00 Finish
The timings are similar to yours although we finished a bit earlier. It was perfect and everything flowed very well. I don't think anyone felt like they were hanging around too much! I was quite glad we finished fairly early. It's a pretty tiring day!0
