Nationwide Car DIDN'T Double the Difference

Hi, I posted this under the main 'Double difference car insurance' post but had no replies 
so posted it here instead, thanks.

I have just received my cheque! But it is not what I was expecting. The difference in quote was £280. But they have just sent me a cheque for £280 and not double the difference (I was expecting £560 - double the difference).
Has anyone else had this occur? I'm going to call customer services first thing in the morning but in the mean time wondered if anyone else have had the same thing occur.
