Unbloking a car radio

can anyone tell me how i go about unblocking a car radio? i put the code in wrong 3 times on mine, now i can't unblock it, and as the car is second hand i've no idea where to start.

any help appreciated,

If it's the original radio, and you've got the original paperwork, hopefully it'll be inside the radio part of the manual - or you can try calling a service garage (Ford have done this for me before) .... good luck. If not, no idea - soz

what is the make and model of radio and car it's fitted to, you can purchuse unlocking programs of ebay for some radios but many need to go back to the dealer to get unlock, costs about £15+vat

It may sound daft but i'm sure someone once told me if you put it in the freezer for an hour it will reset/unblock it. Anyone else confirm this?

I can confirm that it will solve the problem.....the radio will never work again and you will have to buy a new one
