The Fear !!!!

Hi everyone OR interview this mornin 9.30 i have not slept a wink just wanted ask have not put kids dinner money on SOA its 74 a month for 2 kids but should this be comin out of housekeepin which is £500 for 2 adults 3 kids

Also im sure they will tell me i cant have car expensise on i use sis car for work MOn Tue and to drop off car seat to her as she looks after LO i also use it to take my sis to work on Thurs Fri as i have her LO for her on them days now granted work is only about a mile away but this saves both parking permit and also its dark to walk at 730 in morning she does have other car but hubby uses it on thurs and fri to pick Lo up from me . If we did not do any of this we would have put LO and older ones in Nursery/care club which for 2 days is at least 70 a week ooooooh im sooo scared surely it would make sense to have 140 a month for car expensise rather than 70 a week plus travel expensise heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelp im hypoventerlating

I know its a biggie, but chill! I know you will have read other threads about the interview, but:

    1) Make sure you have a drink with you.
    2) Make sure you have a notepad and paper with you for notes.
    3) Don't waffle. There will be lots of long silences whilst they write their notes.
    4) Don't volunteer any information.
    5) Just answer all questions as honestly as you can. If you don't know, then you don't know.

Tell them you missed the school dinners and ask them to include it seperately or add it to the housekeeping bill please. Very sorry - was so scared about it alL, I just forgot... (blah, blah).

I cannot help with the car. Just tell him you need it for work and public transport is too expensive. At least because you borrow the car, then MOTs and servicing are not your responsibilty thus reducing the SOA slightly.

    Best of luck

  • better to put too much on the costs side of your SOA and have em reduced than put nothing down, the OR wont advise how much you can claim, hes there to sort a possible IPO

add it all on and sort it later, if already BR just tell the OR you wish to change the amounts
  • Hope it's going OK for you this morning. Don't forget to let us all know how it was and to breath a huge sigh of relief once it's all over.
