How do you make money from this. If you have to pay them £100 and get £50 back then surly use loose £50.

They give you a loan of £80 you pay back £100 (£20 interest) and then if quidco are giving you £70 cashback then you make a profit of £50 :)

would this have any sort of negative effect on your credit rating?

Only if you were rejected for a loan would it affect your credit rating.

On another point, I have just been accepted for an £80 loan, and will let you know how long it takes for the cashback (£65) to come through via Quidco.

Would anyone ever be rejected for a payday loan though, I mean on the credit check? Do they even do one?

My partner was accepted at Payday UK (through Quidco) for a £80 loan on 28th March - We have never heard anymore about it. I assume that because it was a weekend it will be dealt with today but there is still nothing in our account. Also my partner is unable to log-in To Payday UK - it doesn't recognise his details. He asked them to email his password , which they did but this doesn't seem to work either. We have just emailed them so are awaiting a response.
Furthermore, when my OH logs into Quidco, there doesn't say anything in his details about Payday UK - does this take a couple of days even to be acknowledged? Has anyone else had any problems and an:confused: y advise would be greatly appreciated!!

It takes a while for PaydayUk to register in Quidco but as far as I have read from the feedback there doesnt seem to have been many problems with it... I have applied today for an £80 loan so hopefully this will all be fine... Set it so come out of my wages on pay day.

This will only make your credit better as long as you pay the full amount on time and make sure there are enough funds in the bank to cover the payments.

There is a note out there on the site to say "We charge £25 per £100 borrowed for NEW loans!"
Is this an extra £25 to bear?

Argh these are a nightmare. I decided i didnt want to go through with it and im been getting 4 or 5 emails and up to 10 calls a day for last 2 days!! Driving me mad. Wont even tell me where they are from untill i answer a hundred security questions. One of which is "what is your mobile number" Duhhh well let me think, your calling me on it!!! But apparantly that wasnt good enough and i had to go to diary and look it up!! I could hear the fake cheeryness dripping from his voice as he told me in an almost histarically pitched "hey, did you know, you have been accepted for a payday loan". I just thought these people can turn really nasty very quickly i can imagine.
I wouldnt touch them with a barge bole now.
