I got a letter from Liverpool NHS today telling me I wasn't eligible for one as I don't live in Liverpool, and they said that judging by my postcode I didn't work there either as it was too far to commute. Couldn't see any of those 49p ones in Superdrug. Anyone know where else I may get a free one?

im in the west midlands and managed to get one. I know if your prescribed the weight loss drug xenical/orlistat they send one out with other free stuff if u register with map.i saw it posted else where but if your interested i will put the free phone number up but they do ask for the batch number of the pills.

Like one or two others, I have one that I don't use. Mine was free from my local sports centre from a promotional event.
However, it is worth asking how a pedometer is going to help you get fit.
Why not just google a map and go for a walk?
If you get slightly out of breath then you are doing exercise.
