It depends what features you want, I got one in the superdrug sale for 49p the other day and they had talking pedometers down to 99p. If you just want a simple one with no radio or fancy features then argos has one for £1.99 which counts steps taken, distance covered and theoretical calories burned, hope this helps:D

I just wanted to add that I saw pedometers in poundland today so if anyone wants a cheap pedometer poundland's worth a look:T

Another option is if you have a nokia N95 or similar there is an free application which is a pedometer which you can download onto the phone. Don't know if other phone makes have that option as well but maybe worth looking at.

From 4th Feb- 4th March, Daily star is running a promotion for a free weight watchers meeting, free registration, free fast start (meal plan for 7 days) plus a free pedometer. worth over £27 (Pedometer £12.95 alone!!)

Also, if you decide to keep going, they have a monthly pass which costs £4.14 a week instead of £5.50 and at the moment you get a free cookbook worth £4.

Worth a try....i've lost 3 stone in the past 4 months and have 1 more to go before I get to goal and get to go to meetings for free!
