Birthday present for my lovely friend??

Hi All,
I want to get a nice, thoughtful present for my friend.
Briefly-we met through work, know each other 3years, she has got divorced, and I've recently had my 1st baby. She is also my office manager at work.
She has been an absolutely fantastic friend to me, extremely supportive and very giving. She bought me and my dd gorgeous heartfelt presents when dd arrived 5wks ago and no expense was spared. She also gave me £100:eek: for xmas as she knew money would be tight. I gave her a hamper, after reading posts, and was very proud of it to be honest, spent about £50+ on it, and included make up, fluffy socks, wine, chocs, a good book and loads of other bits.
So now its her birthday (she will be 35) in a few weeks and I'd really like to get her something lovely to show her how much i appreciate her frienship.
She is really hard working, likes make up (benefit, pout etc, though i got these for her last bday), is athletic, likes to run, gets her hair done in a very expensive top london salon
Please can you help me with some ideas?
P.S-she is not at all materialistic so any ideas would be great
Thanks xx

As you've said she's not that materialistic why not a trip out / mealout somewhere although I see you've recently had a baby and getting out yourself may needsome careful planning. It can be hard work 'matching' a really generous friend (no disrespect intended) sometimes a small gift a book or trinket box with a beautifully written card would be appreciated as much if not more than anything that she could easily afford herself.0

Could you put together a pamper hamper? Maybe something with some foot cream in, a good pumice stone and some chocolates?

if (like me) she likes to run, then specialist running socks would be appreciated! I like Falke RU4 running socks, then come as an ergonomically designed 'left and right' so they fit perfectly (if you know her foot size) = no blisters
If you have a specialist running shop near you , they can advise - or pm me and I'll point you in the right direction 0
