Recipe - Chicken Pasta Alfredo

I need your help in finding a recipe for chicken pasta alfredo.
When I go to my local Weatherspoon pub it is on their menu, however my mum lives in America and they have a packet mix(inc pasta) called Fettucine Alfredo made by Betty Crocker. I have four packs in my cupboard but they ain't gonna last because my best buddy tried one and now she thinks she's died and gone to heaven. Bye the way the ingredients list on the packet is not good because of preservatives and the fact that they call some ingredients by a different name than we do.

so please please help, my mum won't be over here again until September and me and my buddy can't wait thank long.

alfredo sauce is just a cream sauce with some herbs and parmesan in it

fettuccini noodles are long like spaghetti but flat, about 1/4 inch wide, egg noodle size if that helps

if you really want good fettuccini alfredo and you're in the states go to the olive garden and get it there, nothing better!

when i first came to scotland from the states i searched high and low for alfredo sauce, imagine my chagrin when i discovered it's just your typical cream based sauce

I have found a simple recipe. And I can now look at supermarkets to see if they stock the sauce in jars.

My best buddy's mouth is gonna be a watering when I tell her. :beer:

How do you make your cream sauce please?

It is almost carbonara without the meat in it I think.

I simply fry up the ingredients gently in butter (so as not to burn it) add cream and stir, the cream will thicken and taste wonderful. Do not overcook or it will separate out again.
