Hi
I am going for a once (in a lifetime or at least 10 years!) pamper day. I have had a very tough year and decided to splurge some of an unexpected windfall on a spa/pamper type day. I am also paying for a dear friend to come along too as she has also had an awful year too.
Budget: £400 tops, expecting to spend £300-£400 for 2 people.
Location: SE Essex
When?: Jan/Feb
I want to go to a luxurious venue (& nice surroundings ideally, semi-rural/rural location ideal) with use of spa facilities like pool, jacuzzi, sauna but won't want to use the gym plus at at least 2/3 full length treatments (ie not all mini/express 15 min manicures etc) with some sort of lunch included. We would like to stay all day on a weekend.
I've been looking on websites but personal recommendations/suggestions woild be really helpful and very much appreciated.
PS if there is any way I can save a few quid ie. book through a cashback site etc even better!
many thanks in advance

I would recommend Rowhill Grange the other side of the dartford tunnel.
I been to lots of spa's and this is the best.
Checkout the voucher/ letters day packages for the best prices. Well worth staying over night!

i go to reflections day spa (attached to pontlands park hotel near chelmsford) u can have a day membership for £13 this includes use of indoor/outdoor pool, small gym, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi, lunches are around £5 for salads, sandwiches etc
there is a beauty room at the other end of the carpark that does various treatments (acacia beauty), i believe they do a package that includes entrance to the spa so that may be worth a look
if u google them both u will get more info and prices etc
HTHWhen you know better you do better0
