On the downside, spent £4.50 over budget on going out last night. On the plus side, service at the bar was very slow, so only had 1 drink, so could have been worse!

Today spent £1.99 on 2 packs of baby wipes in Boots.
OH is posting a birthday pressie to a friend, say £1.00 max.

I'm off out again tonight :eek:this time for a meal. REALLY need to limit spending to £12.50. Should be doable, as we've got £15 worth of vouchers between 5 of us. Might need to forgo pud.

Grocery Shopping tomorrow with target of £32.50 tops. Coupons, discount voucher and shopping list at the ready. I have some birthdays coming up - so I MAY put in an order to Amazon also this w/e. (15.50 or so, free postage!) Grief, that all comes to £82.99.

Anyway, have a good w/e all.....
  • Gosh..its so cold here today….brrrr… and it started to snow about an hour ago as well. Drove to the local garage and put in some Extra Super Duper, Highest Octane in The Universe Petrolly stuff at a cost of £15.01… can never get the Nozzle Thingy to stop on the’00’…Grrrrr – hee hee. :p

Popped into town on a shopping spree and extravaganza spending a total of £10.83 for some groceries at the Co-op, a very large, ultra creamy coffee with five sugars in it at the local coffee bar and …wait for it… A Euro Millions Lottery ticket… hee hee :D

PS – The Co-op is selling what looks like really nice, non-stick Wok sets for £4.99 if anyone’s interested.
    :)The £2 Coin Savers Club = £346.00 (£300.00 transferred to Savings a/c)

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

    Hi everyone,

I am new to the site but have already got so much inspiration from you guys, thank you so much. It all started when I bought Martin's book, from a book shop of course for £7.99, I won't be doing that again. I have massive debts but I have put a plan in place, told my partner applied for a 0% card not sure if I will be accepted.

Wish me luck, oh I spent bus fare to work and bought some bread, we normally have a take away on Fridays not any more. I want to test my new budget out so will make supper myself.

    Bye for now
