Hemp Seed Oil

I have been reading about the benefits of hemp seed and am thinking about trying it as a food supplement. Have any of you used it? Did you feel any benefit? I have been checking prices on the web and the cheapest I have seen in UK is £18.95 + £3.95 p+p for a litre. I would love to hear of a less expensive outlet.

I'm a bit concerned that because it is similar to flax seed oil you may, by buying in bulk run into problems with oxidation.

It sounds as is hemp oil could have the same problems as flax oil, as that also oxidises quickly and once it's started to go rancid it's worse than useless. It's one of the reasons I don't use flax oil but stick to grinding my own flaxseeds as I use them.

very interesting. I did think that 2 persons taking 2 tablespoons per day and keeping the oil in the fridge would be about right but now I think I will order a smaller quantity and see how we get on.
