More help required with form please q8.4

Hi....sorry for being a pest, just realised not completely filled in every question (how did that happen?). Anyway question 8.4 on the form wants to know 'does anyone else have an interest in any of the properties that you own, rent or lease?'

Don't own any property at the moment. I rent the house we are currently living in and the agreement is in my name only. Does this mean that I need to put OH's name here under 8.4, I've already included him along with the kids at question 10.1. I was not intending to put anything here but wonder whether I should?

Any help please?

applepie, I am not ignoring you but I am not very good at giving the right answer with the technicalities of the forms, especially when there are 2 of you and 1 of me!!!!
You need one of the clever ones - dalip, peachy, fyp, tiger, Don et al to come along and tell you ...... Like a bus, probably wait ages to get 3 of them come along at once!

until corrected i believe this refers to you renting a house that you own (your property) ie do you have any houses that you rent out with sitting tenants
if you do not own the property do not list it as it is not your asset you just rent it from the landlord

I agree. Like SA I did it for 1 not 2 so no expert but I think that the above is right

The bit I am not sure about is whether OH should be named as having an interest in the rented property...... Any ideas?

flattered to be included SA but to be honest, I don't have much of a clue and not feeling too clever right now either.

Hi Applepie, at a best guess I would say yes your OH does have an interest in the rented property purely because it is now his home and he presumably does contribute to paying the rent. therefore because he pays part of the rent, he does have an interest in it. Am sure will be corrected if this is wrong and if so, I apologise. Hope this helps a little.

Hi everyone, thanks for your input, I'm not going to include OH here as, no he does not contribute a bean towards anything. It's just his home, so I'll just leave it as it is and see what happens.

Aha..... I would leave him off too then - the only interest he has in it is you!!!

Hi applepie. The section that you a referring to I filled in because of the way it was worded. I put my address in which I rent and put my wife down as other person who has interest with me. However, everytime I went back to the form the information I had input was gone. I refilled it a few times and it always disappeared so I've left it as nothing to declare now.
