Manchester - Deansgate/Liverpool Road Parking

Have a job in Manchester on Deansgate. Wondered if anybody knew any good free parking spaces in area, or even better has a parking space they dont use during day I could utilise.
I know a few people I work with who park in local residents carparking that they dont use during day, and pay a small fee.

Free parking at Sainsburys Regent Rd if you dont mind a 10 minute walk to Deansgate - thats the Deansgate Station end !

I have heard a rumour that there is a car park near deansgate that is only £3.75 all day everyday, but have no other info. Sorry if that isn't helpful, but it might jog someone elses memory!
