                    Hi
I may be moving from Northern Ireland down to the Republic. As these are different countries are they seperate credit areas also.
I have a default on my Equifax record here in the UK . But if i say move to dublin and apply for credit. I give all the details of previous addresses etc and DOB if a lender searches Equifax Eire/Republic of Ireland will they be able to know if i have default.
Im just not sure how the system works. If anyone has any ideas or experiences that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
