Hi
I'm a newbie on this site and i wondered if somebody could explain about 'cashing in your pension'????
I'm 37 and have paid into 3 different pension schemes throughout my working career? one of which was a government pension.
Can i get the money back out of these that i have paid out then?
Any info would be great.

You cannot cash in a pension.
When you are 55 you will be able to take 25% tax-free cash from your pension and buy an annuity or go into drawdown with the rest of the pension pot.0
