    I was a tad worried that the letter stipulates Bankers draft and if 3rd party BS cheque is sent that could invalidate the commitment of the letter.

    Think im probably being overly cautious

    Phone and check if you want to make certain.

    I can't see a problem - the cheque will be cashed into their account and you have completed the agreement.

    But I guess you are right to be cautious considering the sharks that we come across on these forums. In my mind I had that the creditor was a major bank but I don't think you've said who the creditor is. I do trust some more than others.
