Hi everyone, just a query between me and my husband, could anybody tell me roughly how much it is to transfer one work pension into another work pension.
Husband was working for a company for 8 years and had a pension scheme with them, when he left he just never paid into that pension again, so now hes in new work and got a pension with new company. So could anybody tell me approx how much it would cost to transfer old pension to new, and also if we didnt want to go down that route could we cash it in?
Thanks for any advice.

No we can't i'm afraid. The costs will vary on the transferring scheme and the receiving scheme.
Also, the old scheme could be better off left where it is. Or better off moved.also if we didnt want to go down that route could we cash it in?
