Hello

My friend is in middle of bankruptcy he owes about £55000 when the OR asked about inheritence he said yes but nobody knew how much it was yet as was being sorted out well now he knows and it £300000 will he gets whats left after the paid the debts and the OR fees?

I thnk the answer is yes. Has your friend thought of annulling the bc or was he made bc by a creditor?.Dx

I think you can still annul the bankruptcy if all the debt is paid.

Yes, he'll get the remainder.

Kenji, here's the info about anullment, I think he can get the ball rolling now even though he doesn't have the money yet.

Probate can take along time, especially if there are lots of assets involved.
