Amazing How Things Change

Hi there
I just thought I would give all debt-free wannabe's a little boost.
Back at the beginning of January I had debt on the following credit cards:
£8500 Halifax CC (19.95%APR) and £1250 Capital One CC (approx 21%)
Since joining this site and reading lots of good advice, I now have the following credit cards:
£1500 Halifax CC (19.95%), £3978 Capital One (12.6%) £1734 Capital One (14.84%) £2700 Mint (0%).
This is a saving of £61 every month in interest. So £61 extra that can be thrown at my debt.
I am still going to work on getting this better, but before my lightbulb moment I wouldn't have even considered the interest. I knew they were high but didn't relate it in terms of how much of my wages were going to pay another credit card company. So I am aiming to stop that as soon as I can.
Hope this thread gives others hope and inspiration.

You keep going, that £61 per month makes a big difference.
...Linda xxIt's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.0 -
