Mega wedding cake book find

I am so chuffed, popped into hobby craft today to see if I could get hold of some various cake decorating bits, and spotted a book called 'sweet and simple party cakes'. On closer inspection it is by May Clee-Cadman of 'Maisie Fantaisie' :j :j :j

I had absolutely fallen in love with the Maisie Fantaisie 'Dotty about you' wedding cake but at nearly £800 it was well out of our budget.

Anyway I took a huge breath and hoped for the best as I quickly flicked through the book only to straight away fall on the page with the instructions on how to make the dotty about you cake, I am so chuffed as I had decided to have an attempt at it but now I have the proper instructions on how to do it, hoorah! :T :T :T

There is a lot of maisie fantaisie cakes in there, the book cost £15.

  • FYI, it's £9 at Amazon in case anyone else wanted to buy a copy. I'd never heard of her (I'm hoping my mum's going to do mine, but I've not asked her yet!) as I'm not looking at cakes, but hers look really, really nice... Good luck with making yours x

Thanks to OP for this. I just ordered one from Waterstones, £8.99 with free delivery then I used my points so I got it for £3 what a bargain can't wait to see it love her cakes but at £800 a pop I'd rather wreck my kitchen trying to make my own!!
I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off :o
