Capital one asking for personal info

I am currently paying Capital One a £1 token gesture payment on my old credit card account which hasn’t been used for years I’ve done this since May 08
Had a review letter today asking to send..
My bank account details, other creditors, balances and payments being made to them.before they can decide weather to continue with the arrangement I have now.

They also want copies to which benefits I receive, how much and how frequently they are paid , and general living expenses.

Do you think it is a good idea to give Capital One so much information? I have already sent these details in May 08 when I first contacted them after seeking advice from CCCS.
I am still getting advice from cccs i.e. expenditure up to date forms which they prepare for me.
The thing is I don’t have any income and my husband claims benefits for us both in his name, I have no income in my name I have an old bank account with 83p in it hasn’t been used for years as I have no money ( if I had I wouldn’t be in this situation) .
Do I send the benefits information that my husband has , and the other stuff, and just blank out the NI number and other Account numbers etc, just leaving the name and address on them, cos if I don’t send this info, they have said that they cant review it without this information?
Also my husband has the same letter cos he as an old acc with them aswell which he as a same arangment for that account too he also pays £1 token gesture which they are asking for the same information.. so basically we have to send this information twice for the 2 different accounts…. Any advice lease
thank you

I don't think this is unusal for creditors to ask this. They like to see that they are getting a fair share of the money available and want to make sure that you are not hiding anything.

They are unlikely to continue to accept reduced payments if you don't supply this info.
