Thanks! It's a great resource for trying something a bit different- am fond of German food, after spending some time there, and the recipes have brought back lots of memories.0

Love Mrs. Beeton and similar - find v. interesting and (as well as all the recipes on here) have just been absorbed by some really interesting & unusual things in the Cook Book section.
Recipes (and a social eye opener!) from the 1830's: The Columbian Autograph Souvenir.
The Roll of Ancient Cookery is really interesting historically - compiled in 1320, and the Reform Cookery Book must be one of the very first Vegetarian Cook Books ever!!!! - can't quite work out what date this would be from.
