I ahve had my OR interview and my question is what if I have forgotten a creditor and when I am discharged on 5/12/09 the old debt was to come to light. Can they do anything.
Also the debts that have been listed on my soa, can the creditors after my discharge come back on to me for the money and then they take me br.

Evening nida,
Any non secured debt that you have when you are made bankrupt is covered by your bankruptcy, whether declared or not.
If a creditor comes to light, refer them to the OR.
How are you feeling today?

all bankruptcy debts are written off upon discharge. So the bankruptcy creditors cannot pursue you after discharge.
If a creditor come to light at any point, which ought to have been included, just send details to the OR and ask them to send the Report To Creditors.0 -
I dont seem to have recovered from the interview, the first hour of it I was very quiet and probably did not answer questions very well, the second hour I became hysterical and started to explain things a little better. He told me not to blame myself for everything. The conversation was more like a counselling session towards the end.
I had a good few weeks where I felt happier than I had for a long time, now I feel stressed, irritable and scared.
He did advise me to go to the dr's which I have booked. He also said for my husband to get advise, he did yesterday from national debt line and he was advised to go br, his date is friday 13th.
I have just found out that one of my daughters friends mum and dad went br 3.5 years ago, the mum told my daughter last night. I am offering my shoulder to her because she and her husband are still finding it hard and she is not rid of it until next year, not quite sure why.
I just want to be rid of it all, will I ever be.
Thank you for asking.:A0 -
I think we would all be surprised if we found out just how many people we know who have gone BR or are thinking of doing so but have kept quiet about it (for obvious reasons) .....
You are certainly on the BR rollercoaster - one day up then one day down - but I am sure it will level out soon, nida.
Keep your chin up

NIDA I suspect that your daughters friends parents may have had a BRU or of been subject to an IPA. Until fairly recently BR lasted 3 years so it is possible.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0
