B&M store in Ellesmere Port have Allinson Organic bread mix for 29p.

500gm. White or malted. Just add water. Suitable for breadmakers and

hand baking.
Also Amoy Straight to wok noodles 29p

I was just going to post the same. They have loads of near sbd stuff.

On the subject of the cheap breadmix - put a 'wanted' on www.freecycle.org my local one. Asked If anyone had a breadmaker, had a reply. Picking it up on Friday. Love freecycle. Given loads of stuff away. Hate to see things going to the tip.

I bought the Malted one to try the other day and it came out like a brick.

I just used the normal setting, I think I should have used the wholegrain or something like that (I have a Morphy Richards FastBake). It just says on the packet to follow your breadmakers instructions.

I also like the sliced cooked ham. 500g for £1.69. Really good stuff, not reformed. 200g is 99p. Also get the gammon corner joint. These are £2 somthing & if you get there early when putting them out some are massive. Good value (but have been frozen).

In the town centre, opposite Wilkinsons. Then you've got Home and Bargain round the corner and then 2 poundshops in the precinct! Happy bargain hunting:rotfl:
