I am not sure if things are different in Spain, but when you buy a lottery ticket over here you don't give them your name and address. You contact them if you win, not the other way around.
I win the Toyota online lottery at least twice a week, although it's usually only second prize $500,000 now if only I got around to sending them the release fee and insurance premium $1500 I could claim my prize money...
Lots of these scams flying around, some better organised that others. I tend to reply to most of these scam emails (using an alternative account). I am currently in discussion with a Nigerian fellow who works for Fedex and the FBI who have verified the claim is 100% genuine and honest. Interestingly neither of these indiviuals uses their work email....for security reasons they tell me. At the moment I just need to send $100 by western union then Mr fedex will send me a bankers draft for millions of dollars.

I also got one of these letters in the post from SuperEnaLotto which is supposedly a genuine lottery. The letter came from Rome, Italy and claims I've won €875,000.:rotfl:
I've visited the hxxp://loteria.abc.es/ site and entered my numbers and it also claims I've won €875,000. They claim that 10% belongs to them (Citiy Grupo Seguridad) but it will only be paid after I have received my prize money.
I'm about to chuck this letter in the bin but just want to know for sure if it's a scam before I do.

IF you actually BOUGHT a ticket, and IF the numbers actually match, then you have won.
IF you bought a ticket, did you leave your contact details?
If you have won, then there should be a way to claim without going through the people that contacted you, what does it say on the website?
If you have not bought a ticket then you cannot win.
