Peppa Pig magazine, extra gifts with subscription.

Having seen the Peppa Pig magazine constantly on TV I decided I would go to my local newsagents to buy this magazine, the first 3 issues come with free gifts,

Issue 1, Playboard, magnets, Peppa soundpad & stickers

Issue 2, Magnet, stickers & Playcase

Issue 3, Magnets & stickers

The 1st issue is £1.99 then its £3.99 thereafter

Ok the magazine is fairly expensive, but any parents of Peppa Pig fans might be planning on buying this anyway. So I looked online and notice if you get a subscription you get extra freebies. A CD rom, Backpack, Umbrella & Soft toy (choice of Peppa or George)

It says they also send out magazine binders which hold 20 issues throughout the subscription

I have taken the offer online to get the extra freebies as I was going to buy the magazine anyway.

I have called to find out the deal with cancelling and future issues, there are 60 issues in total on the subscription, the free gifts come with issues between numbers 1-10 and they ask 28 days notice to cancel. My intention is to run the 10 issues then will probably cancel.

This offer is a good deal for anyone who is/was actually buying the magazine, I would have still bought them but get 4 decent free gifts by subscribing.

Thought I'd share this info for other Peppa Pig fans as already mentioned this is a good deal if you intend to buy the magazine anyway.

  • I think that's still quite expensive as it will cost you £38 for 10 issues and I don't think the gifts look worth that amount. If you are going to buy the mags anyway like you said then fair enough but otherwise, it's far too expensive for me!! I would rather buy a small toy or craft activity my daughter could play with each week than a magazine but everyone to their own :)

  • yes its probably like the fifi collection. the rings on the binder snap in the case. I cancelled after 30 issues and then was sent another 3, i cancelled again and was charged for the 3 mags but i didnt pay up. poundland stock peppa pig magnets and lots of painting, colouring and sticker books.

I posted this to point out to anyone who is buying the magazine that for the money they will already be spending there is a way to get extra gifts that you wont get from a newsagents, I checked before taking the subscription the extra gifts would cost around £25 if bought in the shops they are all items available from Amazon, Mothercare etc so I would say they are not just the usual tat that some places send as free gifts. Its £25 worth of items that people could be missing out on IF they are buying this magazine.

I will point out the Fifi collection is from a different company so the binder snapping and cancellation problems cannot really be certain to happen with the Peppa pig ones, fingers crossed this wont happen. The binders are showing as £5.99 not £7.99 again I think this info is based on another companies service. ;)

yeah I took out the subs for our wee man just to get the extra gifts, will be cancelling as soon as he runs out of steam with it (issue 3?lol!), definitely worth the initial sub for the free gifts me think, and yes I'd have been buying it anyway

Hi, You don't have to pay for the binders if you don't want them. I just rang up and asked them not to send them.
The only problem I am having is that they seem to be sending the magazines much more frequently than I was expecting, I received issues 3 & 4 2 weeks ago, and got a letter this morning saying that they've already sent out issues 5 & 6 so will be taking both payments from my next direct debit at the same time. There's also a special Easter edition which is due in 2 weeks time as well. Not sure what to do as I do want all the issues just not all at once.

Can anyone help me out with the number you call to cancel? I've searched their site but can't find it!
