Well, I did what others had said I just logged out, and then cleared all my cookies, and then closed Internet explorer, then opened it again, went to boots.com - didn't log in, added a non sale item to my basket, then clicked the basket sign, then clicked the little green login button in the basket and logged in, and hey presto I was able to delete all the OOS stuff that was causing the error:)
