Flowers...average prices

We are now moving onto the next part of our wedding...flowers. But I have no idea what is 'normal' as far as prices for fresh flowers go. We met with a florist yesterday to talk about what we wanted and shes going to ring us with a quote next week. We've also got a rough quote off another florist, which includes my bouquet, 3 bridesmaid bouquets (all bouquets are hand tied roses), seven rose buttonholes for our Dads, brothers and best man, top table decorations, small centrepiece arrangements for other tables (6) and arrangement for church (later to be transferred to reception venue) comes out at £390...does that sound reasonable? I'm going to play around a bit with what we want (wrist corsages maybe for younger bridesmaid etc) but does that price look about right?

I don't think that sounds too bad. A quote for my bouquet, small selection of hand tied roses was coming in at about £60.

i went to about 5 different florists for quotes and ended up going to our local indoor pannier market and found a florist.
she quoted £240 for my bouquet, 3 bridesmaids bouquets, 6 rose buttonholes, 4 ladies corsages , top table display and 5 table displays.
all with avalanche roses.
this is now the main florist that i send my wedding clients to.

the other florists quotes for the exact same cam in at £550, £400, £450, £373 and £388.
