Cheap dinner jackets as ASDA

ASDA branches on Teesside and probably everywhere have reduced some late sale stock, including dinner jackets.
I needed one and called in on spec to Thornaby and got one my size marked down to £20 (jacket only) but when I got to the till it went through for just £15.
They look really nice, and as dinner suits are one of those things you might need to buy at short notice if you're invited somewhere, it makes great money-saving sense to me to get one now while they're giving them away.
Now to find a branch that has my size in trousers left!

In the Reading branch of John Lewis they had some amazing bargains in the men's department - not complete suits but trousers and jackets - if you wre 'incongruous' sizes you might be lucky but there was enough of a selection to find a couple of useful pairs of trousers for hubby, a DJ each for hubby and son and a blazer.
All of these items are really good makes and the sort that we would never usually consider buying at full price!
They had a few DJs made from an unusual fabric with a sort of self-patterned/embossed subtle stripe, so that it would go with any pair of black DJ trousers without worrying about if the black matched. This particular style was on offer for the amazing price of £19.99 from something like £199.99 originally!!! Also found a pair of DJ trousers for £15 so very happy with that purchase!
Did look in another branch of John Lewis but their bargains were only half price (good, but not as good!)0 -
It may be worth checking in Matalan if you have one nearby. I was in there in December and they had dinner suits for about £45You're my wife now!!0
