thanks for the information
i am not sure how to check if they have linked me or not any ideas?
Also i am also registered at my parents address for the electrol roll, is that ok? does that hurt my credit ratings?
You need to get your credit file from the credit agencies and it will show on it if you are financially linked to anyone as it will show their name. See this link- http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/banking/credit-rating-credit-score
You shouldn't be registered at your parents address if you have a permanent home address as you are not living at the house.( In fact you probably are breaking the law but I can't remember the stuff they put on the file.)
It shouldn't harm you credit rating but it could make certain situations more difficult especially at the moment due to financial institutions finding anything to use to not lend people money.I'm not cynical I'm realistic
(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)0
