Hi all
i have my court date booked for the 22nd jan!
I just wondered as i have been receiving ssp of £300 per month the past 6 months am i able to get any help with the fees?
It is a huge struggle to get the fees but its something that must be done i guess
A clean slate for 2009
Also do you think the OR will be interested in my 1997 p reg fiesta???
It was a gift last month from my uncle as i just passed my test

hello ilovecows and welcome
read this its about the fee remission to see if your qualify if you do then you will only have to pay £345 which goes to the OR theres no getting out of that one. the court costs is £150 so if you dont qualify for it the total will be £495

and about your car has your uncle got any proof that he bought it or can he get some as if he can its not really yours so the OR cant take it
any other question just ask

You will have to ask the OR. Im guessing its worth less that £3000 so say to the OR that you need it for work or in order to find work and you should be fine but like already said if you uncle had a receipt that should help sort it all out.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:

ueah but in your name you are registered keeper not legal owner
as long as the owner is your uncle (has a receipt to prove) you can be the registered keeper and or should not be able to touch it (resident to confirm please)
however you may have to list the vehicle as one you have acccess to

registered keeper is not always the owner (often registered keeper has the be the main driver for insurance purposes).
As long as your uncle can prove he purchased it, it won't be a problem0 -
this car has had 7 previous owners so no he wouldnt have a receipt! hes a mechanic so he found it quite cheap. ive looked on the internet and id say its prob worth £700
i need it to get to work as i have to be in at 7.30am and there are no buses, also i have a chronic lung condition and asthma and struggle day to day0 -
With all those facts you should be fine also i guess your uncle could write to the OR and say he bought but have a chat with the OR when it comes up.:cheesy: K2nga :cheesy:
