Hannah Montana Popcorn Maker £5 Wilkinsons

These were originally £20 but they are now selling them with 75% off so although not worth £20 they seem to be ok for £5.
I bought one tonight, called at Tesco for some maize kernels (£1.09 for 500g) and gave it a go, not expecting much.
I was quite surprised. There were only a few unpopped kernels and they only took a couple of minutes if that from switching on to serving.
It has a scoop for measuring the corn then doubles up if you want to melt butter whilst the popcorn is cooking (see the little handle sticking out at the top).

My daughter loves Hannah Montana and always wants the microwave popcorn at £2 a box so hopefully this will save me some cash in the long run.0

If you are getting your maize from Tesco don't get the £1.09 bag that I got, they have some for 69p (same size 500g) on the Carribean Groceries shelf.
Only noticed when I got home and checked the prices online.

Just made some more just to see how long it took.
From switching on to finishing popping all of the corn it took 1½ minutes, that was for 2/3rds of a scoop.

How much popcorn can it make? Is it easy to clean? Does it avoid burning?
I'd gladly ditch the pan for a better purpose...like making toffee sauce
