Brita Jug £1.98 +VAT - Makro instore only

If you have a Makro card then this seems a bit of a bargain;

Brita Spacesaver Maxtra Jug (2.9l) for £1.98 +vat

It was marked up as a managers special, so not sure if this is in all stores or just mine - I got it in the Queensferry store near Chester. It is only a basic jug but it was all I needed. I noticed they had other jugs (Elemaris I think) for £35 + vat with 12 filters.

I also picked up an 8pk of Maxtra Cartridges for £16.99 + vat which seems to be cheaper than I have seen elsewhere.

Yes you're right but what would I have done with the redundant jugs!

Thanks for pointing it out - I guess the jugs are sold as a loss leader to buy the cartridges. Still I think these are the cheapest I have seen a Brita jug for.

lol yeah I only said it because I just bought 7 of the jugs with the old style filters for £1.79 each in Superdrug, not sure what I'm gonna do with the jugs yet!
