Lidl is megga!!

:T Hi there all you savers! I'm new to this chat forum but no stranger to the wonders of Lidl!

I can really recommend Freeway Cloudy Lemonade (no aspartrame)
Frikadellen burgers are good
Natura smoothies - lovely and good value
Bio yoghurts - particularly the vanilla flavour
Fruit juices - particularly the cloudy applesaft
Earl Grey tea bags 50 for 59p!
Favorina speciality chocolates - cherry brandy..yum!
Freshona jars of red peppers - great value
Opitcat 12 box sachets - my cat loves these, good value too.
Christmas pud - best I have ever tasted!

Fruit and veg can be a bit dodgey but I have found the quality to be better than a lot of the other supermarkets.

Their natural yogurt is nice too, and half the price of Tesco, and they do a lovely orange juice with bits (in a glass bottle). There's a thread somewhere on here where people discuss what's good and not so good at Lidl, Aldi and Netto, I'll try to find you the link.

    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!
