will they freeze my lone account

Hiya my husband is planing on going bankrupt having been left with no other choice has been told it will take 3-4 weeks instead of usual 3- 4 days, anyway what i need to know is that we have a joint account which I know will be frozen but I have just opened an account just in my name with same branch, is it likely that the bank will freeze that too, I made it clear when I opened it that I didn't want it conected to my husband but having registered for online banking I see that they are linked together, dunno what to do for the best still need an account to pay household bills etc
Big Thanks to all who post on the comps board

problem is that the joint account was originally only in husbands name then few months back we had mine added, so if we took his name off it might look like we are trying to pull a fast one, even though we are just trying to cope the best we can with 3 young kids and a failing construction business

Hi badgermum, have replied on the other thread but just to confirm, the fact that your husband is taking his name off the account means it is no longer his account. It will belong to you only therefore the bank would have no valid reason to close the account as you will not be under any BR restrictions, only your husband will be.

best wishes for coping just now, we have two young kids too and it is not easy at all in this climate!
