probs with benefits going into frozen bank account

hiya had a hairy fit this afternoon as I found my benefits have gone into my now frozen bank account  cant believe it!!! phoned them and they were like oooooh sorry cant do anything about it! even though I had sorted this out weeks ago - apparently its in the process, the irony is that actually I put a request to stop the money going into my bank in july last year and it kept going in and I kept phoning them and they even said oh there are no bank details on the account so shouldnt going in so 6 months later it still is - 3 weeks ago I wrote to them phoned them to explain how urgently this is and they assured me all would be fine. Now the are saying I cant get my money back and they have put a note to make sure its dealt with urgently but cant guarentee when it would be action

perplexed and even more skint now
has anyone had the same probs and has anyone been able to resolve???
help please

Thios does happen a lopt, and it causes you and the Or a lot of hassle. Basically the OR will ask you to get a fax number for the bank, then will fax bank asking them to release the funds asap. One the fax has been sent it is down to the bank. Frequently I have sent fax, got confirmation receipt, but bank claims to have not received it, so have to send again and again. OR wont bother phoning the bank, as with data prortection act thety will not discuss over the phone.0

makes no difference if account ws o/d on BO date. OR does not claim benefits or wages paid in after BO ate, and bank not allowed to claim them either.0
