i dunno if there is any late fees ras, is there a way of knowing. my previous 8 payments have been via my debit card which mbna have the number for, so no none of these have been late. they sent me a letter asking me to pay £146 to clear arrears which i havent the money to clear. this has now resulted in being sold on.

Would it be worth doing a Subject Access request Cost £10 but if you have run up more than £11 inlate fees (and if you are £146 in arrears there is a good chance of this) then you can reclaim them all.

They will take it off your account, but muight be worth it.

Have you CCAd MBNA - they are notorious for poor paperwork.

    Sorry

    have you CCAed Link?

And do reclaim any charges, even if it only reduces your debt.
