Confused about having 2 jobs

Hi,
Myself and my husband formed a consultancy company in 2007. The company has not made any money in the last 6 months. I have an interview for a job next week and I was wondering what I need to do as I am registered as a director for our company and although I am not earning I would like to keep the company active.
Any information would be gratefully received.

You can do both as far as you tax return goes as well if thats what you were thinking.0 -
If you take the other job, then you will need to fill in a P46 stating that you have another job. It's no problem, as long as your future employers do not have a clause in their contract restricting other work.
Alternately, you can stay as a director of your company, but not be an employee. If there are any profits, then they can be taken as dividends. This is only really valid as long as you are not doing any actual work for the company.0
