  • We pay over £600 a month in debt repayments -- I am hoping to make it more as soon as we can afford it once we have got our budget sorted (Am definitely paying too much for food :( ). I am gently increasing my flexible payments a bit each month :T

If we didn't have the debt we could buy a new car, or save for a deposit on a house, or have a proper holiday ( I do put a bit by for a few days away each year) or even start a family

But you see this is what keeps me going too when it all gets me down -- By 2010, maybe even before, I will be able to do these things if I want to. :j And I'll be saving for 'em first!!!

Good luck to all you debt-payers!
  • £2650 a month off the mortgage

The money will just pile up once the mortgage is gone
