does anyone know about Lowell Financial? I just had a random postcard posted through my letterbox saying they are trying to contact me....I remmeber there were a lot of frauds on my credit history, none of which were mine; I own one overdraft which I am within the limits of, and I also have one mobile internet contract; my phone is PAYG and I have no cards etc. Anyway...I am ex directory and using another name and they still managed to find me 5 years since I left said address; what can I do? If I ring them, they'll know I live here, so I sent the letter back "RTS"...it's also why I have not resolved things with the credit agencies as I do not want my new address registered because I don't want them to start hounding me again...what can I do?

Sounds like thev've found you, you'll probably start to recieve a lot more post now. Did they address it in your new name ?0

No, in my old one. Also, can I sue my landlord? I just found out why; they put my name on the utlity bills without my permission.0

to answer your second post, no i doubt you can sue your landlord. it is a bit crass, but as your are responsible for the bills for the property, then I would assume the accounts would transfer to you (from the previous tenant or the landlord), and thus into your name. They probably did it without thinking.
Also with all due respect it wouldn't have been a problem if you were dealing with the fraud as below.
That aside, I would say that you need to check your credit report. The reason I am suggesting this is that all the fraudulent activity should have been flagged, so this debt should not be pursued. If they aren't then you maybe need to get in touch with the defrauded companies and ask why. Also if you are really are worried about debt collectors (with Lowell are) hounding you then you can put a declaration on your credit report saying that you have been a victim of fraud.
sorry to not to be more helpful.

Because having my awful housemates know my business, having constant letters, I don't want to have another stroke or seizure or possibly die from the stress....0
